Boom boom boom, Katy you are a firework! There is no other artist who has changed their hair colour for so many times, and yet Katy Perry did it again! After finishing her Asia tour, the singer was so amazed by the beauty of cherry blossom, that she decided to colour her candy floss hair Candy Floss Pink leaving the roots dark.
“Fell in love with many different cherry blossoms from Tokyo to South Korea… so @rickhenryla and I decided I should become one” – she commented on Instagram.

Katy wore a light blonde hair colour for almost a year and her bright personality craved for a change. “She’s also a very colourful person and I would say pink is one of her favourites!” – said Perry’s friend and hairstylist Rick Henry. The pink ombre complimented singer’s short cut just perfectly. Katy was never afraid to experiment with her looks, but this time she chose a semi-permanent colour and decided not to commit for too long. Perhaps, we can expect another vibrant hair colour in the nearest future.
Having said that, changing your hair colour is one of the simplest ways to change the way you feel. So far many famous ladies have tried pink hues in 2018. Here are some of them to watch and get inspired:
British fashion icon Cara Delevingne, who is a big fan of pixie as well, decided to go pastel pink and Silver Moon Grey this April. Cara is a true model indeed – when she tries a new colour or new clothes, you instantly want to copy it.
American actress and singer Olivia Holt tried a similar shade on her longer locks. Pastel pink is a perfect colour for blonde ombre and balayage.
“Pretty little liar” Lucy Hale is probably one of the most googled celebrities with a request on her hair. She sticks to one hairstyle but always tries new colours and highlights. Last month Lucy decided to follow the trend and opted for rose pink temporary hue.
Unlike her older sibling Kim, Kylie Jenner’s bright pink hair was just a wig to rock at Coachella festival. However, she looked so cool that fans around the world started colouring their hair Neon Pink.
Paris Jackson was the most inventive and instead of going full head colour, she went for fun unicorn highlights – the mixture of pink, blue and lilac hair colour.
